Prepare for Takeoff Eye Makeup Remover

$21.00

Stubborn mascara can be difficult to remove from the delicate eye area, but it can be done effectively using only natural ingredients. Prepare for Takeoff is made using oils selected for their ability to cleanse as well as their benefit to skin. Jojoba, kukui, and castor oils work together to create a gentle cleaner that won't let you down at the end of the day.

Our organic jojoba oil is cold pressed from the seeds, and unrefined. It's gentle and effective for all skin types. Cold pressed kukui nut oil is a wonderful oil for under eye treatment, making it a great addition to the ingredient list. Organic castor oil is added for it's unmatched ability to cleanse.

Lavender essential oil is present at a lower dilution than used in serums, but is included for its ability to inhibit bacterial growth and keep lashes beautiful.

Mindful and purposeful ingredients:
•Organic Jojoba Oil
•Cold Pressed Kukui Nut Oil
•Organic Castor Oil
•Pure Lavender Essential Oil

To use, apply 1 to 3 pumps to each (closed) eye and gently massage to remove eye makeup. Wipe with a warm, damp facial round. Follow with an all over use of cleansing powder to prepare skin for night treatment.

This 2 ounce glass bottle with a treatment pump will yield over 500 pumps (seriously, we counted, it was brutal).

As with any product containing essential oils, always check with your doctor if you are pregnant or have a medical condition before use.

The Granola Goat is proud to be registered with Leaping Bunny and PETA as cruelty free! All of our products are vegan.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are all of your products vegan and cruelty free? How do you know your suppliers aren’t testing on animals?

YES! All my products are certified vegan AND cruelty free by PETA. The Granola Goat is also certified cruelty free by the Leaping Bunny program. I care about this deeply and if I cannot verify my suppliers are cruelty free via their own literature, I contact them to make sure.

Where do you get your ingredients?

I source from major companies as well as small and indie businesses when possible. I love to buy directly from the farm, producer, or maker but if I must purchase through a distributor, I choose companies who have a reputation to protect. All the essential oils I use are grown without pesticides, synthetic chemicals, herbicides, gmo's, harmful chemicals or fertilizers. I will never purchase cheap products from suspect suppliers, no matter what their claims are. Saving a dime is not worth putting old or adulterated ingredients in my bottle and on your skin. I want you to be healthier, and safer when it comes to your beauty choices.

Are your products recommended for sensitive skin?

Oh yes. You might find that the culprit behind the burning and itching your face feels when using certain products is the preservative. Products containing water must be preserved to inhibit bacterial growth. If you have sensitive skin, you might just need to avoid preservatives.

Your ingredients lists are pretty short. Why don’t you put more stuff in your stuff?

Keeping it simple is kind of my thing. I believe in getting the full benefit from few as opposed to minimal benefit from many. If you want to go crazy and get lots of ingredients at once, mix some of my products. It’s not unheard of for me to sport a face mask that was mixed with the last little bit of three different jars. My serums play well together if you want to mix them (Brighter Days and Keep Calm are glorious together!), and we even love to combine a little makeup removing oil with serum for a nice oil cleanse.

Are all the ingredients listed in the product descriptions?

Absolutely! There are no hidden ingredients, no undisclosed use of solvents like hexane (because I don't use solvent extracted oils at all), no preservatives, and nothing disguised.
